| WKHR Annual Radio-a-thon! |
Please help support WKHR FM 91.5 by participating in our
Radio-a-thon during the week of October 18th!
Since WKHR is a non-profit organization, we rely entirely on donations from
listeners to support us in our mission.
Donations can be made by using one of the following methods:

| Last years Radio-a-thon success! |
Here are some of the tasks we were able to accomplish
with your donations from last year:
* Performed extensive repairs to our main antenna after it was damaged by
lightning.
* Installed a new auxiliary antenna that's usable in all weather conditions.
* Secured emergency power for our transmitter site.
* Obtained and installed a new console for the Production Studio.
* Obtained a backup computer system for overnight.
* Developed a computerized system to deliver ID's and Public Service
Announcements.
* Introduced "Listen On-line" (streaming) so we can be heard world-wide.
* Installed a record noise reduction system to improve "listenability" of our
albums.
* Initiated legal work to stop construction of a station on Cleveland's West
Side that would interfere with our signal.
* A significant amount of the donations went directly to our normal operating costs.
